Landa Rosebraugh has lived in Santa Cruz County for over 25 years. She was an outdoor education and early childhood education teacher, and worked for several years in a charter school office where the bulk of her daily activities fit into the category of, “other duties, as necessary”, before returning to college to finish her bachelor’s degree. She is now an accountant.
She was a founding parent of Watsonville Charter School of the Arts, where her two children attended kindergarten – sixth grade. In 2016, her son was part of MCHS’s first graduating class.
Her past board experience was with the Cabrillo Threshers Swim Club and the Watsonville Charter School of the Arts Foundation. She would like to help MCHS move through the growing pains that all new schools face. Landa welcomes the chance to work with the Board, staff, faculty, parents, and students of MCHS to prepare the school for a long future serving the youth and families of the Central Coast.
